The Tale of Kleinmann

Gerard was born from a broken family. His mother, Keiko Shimamoto came from Japan as a transfer student, but she became a rape victim of his father; Edward Klein who was a professor that supposed to give a lecture for her. Because of that misfortune, she was expelled and Edward got fired disrespectfully after his first wife divorced him. Then, Edward and Keiko got married even both of them did not love each other. At first, he tried to find a way of supporting Keiko who was pregnant. Sadly, because of his ex-wife, Edward was unable to get a job. Later, he fell into a pit of despair as his personality slowly turned worst. Edward became a drunkard and always unleashed his anger on Keiko, especially if she did not have much money to buy vodka for him. As a result, this family faced a financial crisis. Keiko was forced to prostitute herself for surviving and preserving her family, especially her beloved son without knowing if Gerard Kleinmann became a punching bag to his father when her mother was busy selling her body.

When he was at junior high school, Gerard always got bullied and tortured to death by Edward's biological son; Sean Klein and his gang. However, Gerard acted if he was fine as he always put a smiling face in front of teachers, especially his mother. He would not give more burden to Keiko and make his mother decided to take a rest from her job due to his problem. Somehow, Gerard knew if it would make his father mad over and hurt his mother. Keiko was the most and only person that he cared the most. Gerard loved his mother that much and wanted to be a man who could protect her from his father's dirty hands. However, his suffering was getting worse day by day as Gerard started to commit self-destruction, such as harming and numbing himself until he didn't feel any pain. Those bad habits were triggering him to have a dual personality which is contrary to himself subconsciously every time Gerard was in agony. Finally, Keiko knew a small truth; a looping abused that Edward always did to Gerard when he failed to sell his son in the illegal auction. Keiko's pale skin got ruined and half of her body destroyed with many burned cigarettes and alcohol bottles which Edward threw and pressed on her repeatedly. At the same time, she kept hugging Gerard who lost consciousness after his father beat him to a pulp. For protecting her dearest son, she told Gerard to go to Japan. Precisely, living with his grandmother's family, but Keiko was not allowed to come or visited Gerard as the exchanged of that plead, continuing her punishment for being family's disgrace. On the first, Gerard refused her mother's idea, yet Keiko's sadness made him left Germany obediently.

He arrived safely in Japan and expected if his mother's family would accept him, living peacefully with them. Unfortunately, the entire family, including his grandmother didn't wish for Gerard's existence or recognize him as the part of Shimamoto's family. He got a rejection, shunning by everyone in that house every time Gerard tried his best to become part of them. One day, his grandmother and all Shimamoto family members treated Gerard warmly. They even bought new outfits and brought him to a fancy restaurant. After they finished eating, one person started to leave until his grandmother introduced him to a wealthy old man. Without any hesitation or remorse, she explained that they already sold Gerard to that old man and he did not have any right to refuse. That man called Akiyama Itou did a self-proclaimed if he was Gerard's master. He took care of Gerard and he kept his word for not doing any sexual intercourse with him until he passed his legal age. He even granted Gerard's wish to attend a senior high school: Caste Rules by mutual agreement if Gerard would lose all of his freedom after he was graduated or he already reached his consent age. Later on, Gerard came to that senior high school, and he studied there. His school's life was enjoyable until a popular game ruined everything. He almost lost his sanity as his other personality; Shigeo Shimamoto took over his body more often. Luckily, he met a buddy named Daichi Hayagawa. Daichi put his trust in Gerard, supporting him to defeat Shigeo and destroy the system of their school. However, they were caught in a hard choice before they achieved their goal to help their friends.

Gerard almost held his marriage with Itou, but because of his age still illegal to get married; Itou didn't have a choice and allowed Gerard to continue his study on another area in Japan. A camp of war; Zwei Stein and became an active volunteer on Crescent Moon Knight Alliance (CMKA)'s side under the code name: Silver Chariot. Gerard's life kept getting better than before as he met good comrades who would help him to deal with his other personality. He also found his first love; Suzuki Natsume a kind-hearted and cheerful girl who tried to understand his complexity. Her existence reminded Gerard of his mother, especially her kindness. Unfortunately, before he could express his feelings, Natsume received a love confession from his friend. It made Gerard frustrated until he caught off guard and lost from his opponent. They captived Gerard to become their guinea pig on the opposing side's CMKA: Catastrophe.

He was locked up in their secret laboratory and received a lot of injections and surgeries that made his body started to change. As time passed, the cells in his body continued to regenerate, mutating until he could mold his body's shape as he wanted and escaped successfully from that place after killed almost everyone on there. Since on that day, Gerard's personalities were no longer contradicted to each other. It reconciled until they become a single entity. Who would have thought if that Itou had settled and pointed Gerard as his successor before taking his last breath? With all wealth of that old man, he started a business and became a successful entrepreneur who has earned a lot of profits and built a massive company with many branches around the world: The Kleinmann's company. Ironically, his mother already passed away, and he didn't have any blood relation to be left or any close friends, including Daichi who was missing. Impelled by the hollow inside of his heart, he visited Kumadai mansion and began a new journey on there to cope up with his loneliness. Unfavorably, he must leave that mansion and a pretty woman called Bong Cha that he wished to be happy even without his presence. Now, he joined a group that consisted of many CEOs around the world called R78+.

At the first impression, Gerard was depicted as a gentle, kind, and diligent guy who has good courtesy. He always treated everyone equally; as fair as possible. Gerard also never hesitated to lend his arms for helping everyone, but despite his kindness and compromise, he was a secretive person and had cold tendency. He also always tried to spare himself out from the crowd. A typical cold-hearted who won't let anyone interfered or involved in his life, including prevented everyone from knowing about his mental illness: DID.He was sharing his body with his reverse personaー a sadistic mastermind who aimed chaos and war; Shigeo Shimamoto, controlling every hectic occasion behind the scene. That persona will take over his body and be shown as a ruthless, egocentric, and homicidal maniac entity. This dark side of him would never feel any remorse or guilt after killed and 'violated' some moral values to adjust his belief: 'as long as I could be satisfied, I didn't mind to stain my hands even if I must bathe in my blood.' In the slight glances, 'he' was a rogue who was always being very wicked and rude. However, in some moments and depends on the way you treated him, 'his' eyes suddenly turned into something that was manifesting deep sorrow, reflecting his unbearable suicidal thought and how he despised this rotten world. Those gaze overwhelmed by 'his' twisted mind that kept lurking more intense in each passing day.

Current state:Gerard already reconciled with Shigeo. He became such a horrendous and ruthless person. An evil-doer, cunning, and very manipulative to get what he wanted. Gerard showed his sinister and cruelty than his good side that still existed inside his mind. He won't feel any remorse of his devious and sadistic actions, taking pleasure from his enemies' misfortunes as he enjoyed to see their suffering and writhing like maggots under his mercy. Gerard considers everyone around him as nothing but pigs if himself did not recognize them as acquaintances, or their existence was useless for him. However, he would be very loyal and compassionate with those he thought were deserved as the sign if he still the person he used to be.
